Meet Arthur! Arthur is a nice medium sized American Shelter Mutt - which is another way of saying we don't know exactly what breed mix he is! He has a coat something like an Australian Shepherd and he's on the small side of medium sized. Arthur loves adults, and kids over 12 years old. He does not like small children at all! He gets along fine with small dogs and he can get along with bigger dogs once he knows them, but when he meets them on leash he is pretty defensive. Arthur is a great walking/hiking companion. Adoption Process: We are not first come first served. Indigo Rescue focuses on finding good matches between dogs and families to ensure life long adoptions. We deliver all dogs to their new homes. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have adoption events at the Beaverton PetSmart every other Saturday where you can meet many of our dogs at once. Click Here for our Calendar of Events. What changes in your life are likely in the next 10+ years (or life span of the dog) and how will the changes affect the dog? Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 50 miles of Portland. Adoption Fee: $150 for larger adult dogs, $250 for small adult dogs and puppies of any size.
